Passage: Ephesians 6:21-24
Fifty sermons and more than a year later, we complete our journey through the book of Ephesians this morning. There is no other book in scripture that has such a high view of the church and so it is appropriate that we conclude our study by looking at two examples of faithful churchmanship, Paul and Tychicus. In these two men, we have men who model the heart and work of a faithful church member. As our journey with Christ begins with grace, so does the outworking of our faith. We are empowered for ministry, brought into community, and equipped for service by the grace which is ours in Christ. May the lives of these two men not be some long-lost standard of church membership, but encouraging examples to us who seek to live out our faith in the community of believers saved and made His by grace.
