Passage: Daniel 9:20-27
One commentator has said, “The history of the exegesis of the 70 weeks of Daniel is the dismal swamp of Old Testament criticism.” To say the least, this is one of the most difficult, controversial, and misunderstood passages in all of Scripture. While we will take time to try to understand some of the details of this passage, we will apply the wise axiom of biblical interpretation to let the clear passages interpret the things that are less clear, and then to make sure to keep the plain things the main things!
