Passage: Ephesian 5:1-2
Two weeks ago, when we first addressed this text, I mentioned that we needed to spend some concentrated time to see how believers can develop intimacy with God that leads to growing holiness. My purpose in this message is to persuade you that God has given us the necessary means to grow a deeper, more personal relations hip with Him and that it is through that relationship that you and I are progressively transformed from the inside out so that we can more effectively imitate Christ. The fight for godliness is a fight for our hearts. In our time this morning, my prayer is that we will each grow in our desire to know and love and live for the God who has so graciously saved us.
