Passage: Romans 6:1-11
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the key turning point in all of history. If Jesus was merely a man who was executed as an insurrectionist and whose body remains in a grave somewhere in Israel, then Christianity is a joke and all Christian churches should shut their doors. But since Christ is alive, then that makes all the difference in the world. And this difference is not just theological or theoretical; it is incredibly practical and relevant as we live our lives in the midst of a God-denying culture.
