Passage: Matthew 1:18-25
The Christmas story is incredibly familiar, even to those with little or no church background. Whenever we deal with a very well-known passage, we run the risk of falling prey to the old adage that “familiarity breeds contempt.” This Advent, we will take a fresh look at this account and seek to regain the amazement we all felt as children upon hearing the story for the very first time.
