Passage: Acts 4:23-31
Generally, as residents and citizens of the U.S., we have no idea what persecution for the name of Jesus really looks like, but that is not to say we won’t experience opposition for our faith. The first-century church not only experienced persecution, they expected it. Their response to such opposition can teach us much about what it means to be a devoted follower of Christ and how we should respond when persecution does come.
